Yacht Donations NET Owners Favorable Results!

MIAMI, September 5, 2011 - SeaKeepers Enters Yacht Donation Business

Several years ago, the IRS changed rules to make yacht donations undesirable. The laws have since become favorable for donors and 501(c) 3 charities like SeaKeepers. Dean Klevan, CEO, and Richard Snow, Director of Development and Member Services, have recently teamed with Jeff Fraser seakeepers.oceans@gmail.com. Jeff had a long career running The Tradewinds Foundations using yacht donations to raise funds for Cerebral Palsy research. During their success, Tradewinds was receiving over one hundred yacht donations per year. With depreciable assets, tax write-offs, and Yacht sales down, owners will be happy to examine donation as an alternative. Positive NET results are generally the norm! This business has some critical factors. First, the donor must have complete and accurate documentation so the IRS remains satisfied. Second, any Yacht Broker involved in a donation transaction must receive unparalleled professional courtesy and full compensation. Yacht Brokers, Captains, and Crew are the eyes and ears of this industry. Finally, SeaKeepers wants all parties involved to feel great about accomplishing the desired goals and maintaining the finest reputation.

Seakeepers has already accepted its first donation and is currently considering several more ranging in size from thirty-six feet to forty-two meters. SeaKeepers motto is "To Protect and Restore The World's Oceans". We are the stewards of the ocean environment for future generations. Today's economic environment is difficult. Government spending on ocean issues continues to decline making charitable contributions even more critically important. We will continue working tirelessly for our oceans' preservation.
