OFFSHORE PLANKTON TOWS

Expedition aboard DISCOVERY Yacht Vigilante

Researchers from the University of Florida set up science operations at Palm Harbor Marina in West Palm Beach in February 2016. During the single day expedition, scientists went offshore aboard D/Y Vigilante to sample plankton, which included completing 6 tows. Samples were then brought back to the lab for additional microscope and dissection work.
