THE INTERNATIONAL SEAKEEPERS SOCIETY ANNOUNCES
MEGA-YACHT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

Launched in 2006, the Yacht Partnership Program is intended to broaden the Society’s support within the luxury yacht industry. Yacht Partners consist of leading builders and suppliers to the luxury yacht industry who want to demonstrate their concern for the health of the sea.

Yacht Partners join by making a one-time donation of $25,000 plus paying annual dues of $2500. In return, they are encouraged to use the SeaKeeper Yacht Partner logo in their marketing and promotional materials. In joining, they agree to help the Society recruit new members from among their clientele. Yacht Partners and SeaKeepers will also plan small-scale social events, often aboard Yacht Partner yachts, to promote camaraderie and fellowship between Yacht Partner clients/prospects and SeaKeeper members.

This program is being spearheaded by Board President Jim Gilbert who said, “It’s impossible for us at SeaKeepers to meet many of the most important yacht owners in the world without the cooperation of the world’s most important builders and suppliers. This is a win-win-win program for everyone involved: yacht owners get to meet their peers in a friendly, intimate setting; yacht builders get to form better personal relationships with their best clients and prospects; and the Society gets to meet potential new members to support its important mission of understanding and protecting the sea.”

On Spaceship Earth there are no passengers; everybody is a member of the crew.
Marshall McLuhan (1964)

Each year industrial, household cleaning, gardening, and automotive products pollute water. Approximately 65,000 chemicals are used commercially in the United States today, with about 1,000 new ones added each year. Only 300 or so have been extensively tested for toxicity.
