WHY SEAKEEPERS PROFESSIONALS
Working together to restore and protect the World's Oceans

Dear Crew,

The importance of your participation is clear. Our majestic and life-giving oceans are now in jeopardy and nobody is more aware of the seas’ beauty and the abuses than you. We need more advocates, and no one is better positioned than professional yacht crew to spread our message. SeaKeepers is the only non-profit marine conservation organization that was built by the yacht industry, from the keel up.

In addition to attending fabulous fund raising events around the world, SeaKeepers Professionals will be asked to play a larger role in conservation. In collaboration with the Captains Advisory Council, SeaKeepers Professionals is embarking on several programs that could significantly support the marine science community, such as deploying scientific equipment during voyages and capturing and reporting specific sights and sounds. Additionally, an Environmental Officer pilot program is already being tested on members’ boats.

The earth is slowly dying, and the inconceivable – the end of life itself – is actually become conceivable.
