Project Overview
On Friday, December 5, 2025, The International SeaKeepers Society was invited as guest speakers with Boys & Girls Club of Miami Dade’s end of year town hall. Our Education Outreach Manager, Jack, started off by introducing SeaKeepers and described all the efforts our organization actively takes part in to eliminate pollution such as our floating classrooms and monthly beach cleanups. Following our introduction, nine high school students, nominated within their club as students of the year, presented Project Blue Whale in front of family, friends, and local sponsors. They showcased all different aspects in their “Solution to Pollution” through upcycling trash from beach cleanups, repurposing donated clothing, and even marching up the steps of Washington, DC to present their work to multiple congress workers. These students amazed our team with their ambition and dedication towards saving our local ecosystems. We give a huge thank you to the Boys & Girls Club of Miami Dade for welcoming us and look forward to collaborating again in the near future!
