SeaKeepers Attend METSTRADE 2025

Event Overview
On November 19–20, 2025, The International SeaKeepers Society attended METSTRADE, the world’s largest gathering of leisure marine professionals. More than 135 countries were represented across 13 halls at the RAI Amsterdam, exploring global market developments and emerging marine technologies .A highlight of the event was a panel hosted by FarSounder, Inc., titled “Adding Purpose to the Yacht Experience: Our Role in Mapping the Ocean, Supporting Science, and Safeguarding Whales.” Panelists included Gill Rodrigues, The International SeaKeepers Society, Jennifer Johnston Smith, SHADOWCAT, Alexander Flemming, K4IP, and Rosie O’Donnell, Yachts for Science. The session was moderated by Matthew Zimmerman, CEO of FarSounder, Inc., and explored practical ways yachts can support ocean mapping, scientific initiatives, and whale protection.
The International SeaKeepers Society attended METSTRADE 2025 to showcase the DISCOVERY Programme, build relationships across the global marine community, and learn more about technological and sector developments that can support SeaKeepers’mission.
