This week SeaKeepers’ Data Scientist Haley Davis attended the Crowd Sourced Bathymetry Working Group Meeting for the third time. She also took on a lead role in hosting second annual the CSB Workshop which is designed to bring other countries and companies up to speed on the open access foundational tools for collecting, processing, submitting, and visualizing CSB data. This workshop was based on the CSB Manual that Haley contributed to significantly over the last year as the work item lead for a task made to support international CSB contributors.
Together, the participants in this workshop and working group meeting made significant strides forward in developing new tools and technologies, providing updated training, and gathering insights from worldwide CSB initiatives to improve data quality and accessibility for all.
