Belen Jesuit Volunteer Fair 2026

On Friday, September 25, 2026, The International SeaKeepers Society attended the 2026 Belen Jesuit Preparatory School Volunteer Fair. Belen Jesuit Preparatory School is an all-male Catholic school that was founded in Havana, Cuba in 1854 and reestablished in Miami in 1961. Belen’s Christian Service Office mandates their students engage in community service and volunteerism, and many Belen students have been frequent SeaKeepers volunteers in the past. SeaKeepers was one of many organizations present at the volunteer fair that the 9th and 10th grade students were encouraged to approach and learn more about their missions and volunteer opportunities. We were able to directly interact with 113 of the 400 students that attended the fair and tell them about our coastal cleanup opportunities and educational resources and encourage them to join us. We are thankful to Belen Jesuit Preparatory School for allowing us the opportunity to have a presence at their volunteer fair and we hope to see their students at our future coastal cleanups!
