Monthly Cleanup

On Saturday, May 14th, 2022, SeaKeepers hosted another cleanup at Morningside Park with community partner, Awareness Into Action, a social impact organization that provides positive responses to various relevant issues in the Miami community. Twenty-five volunteers were given the opportunity to participate in a free yoga class taught by one of Awareness Into Action’s instructors during the first hour followed by the park cleanup. With four bags collected, volunteers cleared 77 pounds of trash from the park, much of which consisted of colorful plastic bottle caps and articles of clothing and shoes.
