Monthly Park Cleanup

Did you know over 75% of our planet’s surface is covered by the ocean? Earth Day might as well be Ocean Day – and that’s exactly what we decided to clean in honor of Earth Week.

On April 25, 2021, we wrapped up a great weekend cleaning up Morningside Park with our volunteers! We collected 94.8 pounds of trash and left our Earth that much lighter, cleaner, and closer to being trash free. Volunteers had a blast on land and in the water, and we are so thankful for everyone who came out to spend this beautiful Sunday with us. At SeaKeepers, every day is Earth Day, and our volunteers felt that way as well. See you all next time, and keep cleaning!
