During February 18th-23rd, 2024, The International SeaKeepers Society’s Science Liaison, Katie Sheahan, attended the 2024 Ocean Sciences Meeting in New Orleans to network with researchers, explore new innovations in marine science, and share the mission of SeaKeepers’ DISCOVERY Yacht Fleet. From Monday through Friday, Katie attended intriguing research presentations, explored the booths and poster expo, and engaged in many fascinating conversations with researchers in Academia from around the country. SeaKeepers looks forward to the prospects that will come from this and future Ocean Sciences Meetings.
