SeaKeepers at Trawlerfest Boatshow, Seminars, and Rendezvous

From February 26 – 28, 2026, The International SeaKeepers Society exhibited at Trawlerfest Boat Show, Seminars, and Rendezvous, held at Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale. SeaKeepers’ Program Development Manager, Aubri Keith, represented the organization throughout the three-day event, engaging with captains, vessel owners, and industry professionals.

Throughout the show, SeaKeepers shared opportunities to get involved in our programs, with a strong focus on recruiting new vessels to join the DISCOVERY Program. Attendees learned how they can transform time on the water into meaningful impact by hosting Scientist-Led Expeditions, participating in Citizen Science initiatives, and supporting educational outreach efforts.

In addition to program outreach, SeaKeepers distributed eco-friendly gear from our Sustainability Kits, equipping boaters with practical tools to reduce their environmental footprint onboard. These conversations sparked valuable dialogue around responsible boating practices and reinforced the growing interest within the boating community to actively contribute to ocean research and conservation.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with both new and returning supporters and look forward to welcoming additional vessels into the DISCOVERY fleet as we continue expanding our impact on the water.
