Event Overview

On April 23, 2026, The International SeaKeepers Society exhibited at the Triton Spring Expo held at Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Hosted by SeaKeepers’ media partner, Triton News, the event brought together captains, crew, and industry professionals for an evening of networking and engagement within the yachting community.

SeaKeepers showcased its mission and DISCOVERY Program alongside DISCOVERY Vessel ORCA, a replica of the iconic vessel from the film Jaws, which docked beside the SeaKeepers exhibit and welcomed guests aboard for tours throughout the evening. Once a symbol of fear, ORCA is now being used to spark curiosity and conversation, helping to reshape public perception of sharks and highlight their importance as vital components of healthy marine ecosystems through SeaKeepers DISCOVERY Program.

To reinforce this message, SeaKeepers presented a curated gallery of images from a shark tagging expedition facilitated aboard ORCA in December 2025, offering a firsthand look at how the vessel is supporting active scientific research. Special thanks to All Points Boats for their continued support of SeaKeepers and the ORCA replica, as well as for producing the gallery displayed at the show. Together, these efforts demonstrate how storytelling, science, and the yachting community can come together to drive greater awareness and conservation of these misunderstood species.
