SeaKeepers Attend the 2025 Submarine Symposium

Event Overview

On October 7–10, 2025, The International SeaKeepers Society attended the 22nd Annual Submarine Symposium, hosted by the Marine Technology Society’s Submarine Committee and the World Submarine Organisation in partnership with the Submersible Operators Group. Held at the Spanish Oceanographic Institute in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the event launched a new global rotation between the USA, Europe, and Asia, with the 2026 edition set for Hamburg. Over four days, experts, regulators, industry leaders, and innovators convened for technical presentations, workshops, group discussions, and international networking focused on advancements in submarine technology, safety standards, and operational best practice. SeaKeepers was proud to be recognised as a Silver Sponsor of the event.

The International SeaKeepers Society attended the 22nd Annual Submarine Symposium to present its expanding submersible capabilities, engage with global specialists, and explore potential support as it develops new services within the DISCOVERY Programme. Insights gained from the event will help strengthen the organisation’s contribution to safe and effective submersible operations in support of Seakeepers mission.
