- September 17 2025
- London, England
Event Overview
On September 17, 2025 The International SeaKeepers society attended the Navigating the Future: Maritime Cyber Defence & Risk Intelligence during London International Shipping Week 2025. The discussion provided valuable insights into the future of maritime cyber defence, cybersecurity, and shipping risk intelligence.
The maritime threat landscape is evolving rapidly and Dryad Global see these risks as urgent. Cyberattacks are now the first line of assSeaKeepers Attends Dryad Global’s Maritime Cyber Defence Sessionault, with legacy systems like Windows XP still exposing vessels to exploitation.
For SeaKeepers, the most relevant takeaways were the rising cyber threats targeting vessel infrastructure and the risks posed by legacy onboard systems still in use. Since SeaKeepers systems integrate with vessel electronics, resilience and secure design are critical to protect data. SeaKeepers attended this event as part of our mission to advance our industry knowledge at a time of fast paced change and a rapidly evolving marine landscape.
In addition to attending the panel discussions, SeaKeepers met with industry partners AON and Dryad Global to explore the continued expansion of the global DISCOVERY Programme.
The International SeaKeepers Society extend our sincere thanks to Corey Ranslem CEO of Dryad Global and seminar moderator, Lord Jeffrey Mountevans, Chair, Maritime Security Advisory Group (former Lord Mayor of London) and the expert panelists, Jonathan Ball, Partner (IP & Technology Disputes), Norton Rose Fulbright Drew Jackson (Ground Control), Tancred Lucy (Acrisure Cyber Services | Arctic Wolf), and Philip Roche, Partner, Norton Rose Fulbright and to Norton Rose Fulbright LLP, for hosting this informative session.
