The Ocean Collective Summit 2025

At the 2025 Ocean Collective Summit in Singapore, SeaKeepers Asia brought together scientists from across academic, non-profit, government, and industry sectors to create forward-thinking solutions through collaboration and cooperation. On day one, we heard from experts in advanced technologies like AI and Digital Twins, highlighting their utility in creating a better world. The second day of TOCS 2025 helped us to remain connected to our roots as we heard from local Orang Laut Seletar (People of the Sea of the village Seletar) on the connection between cultural and environmental conservation. Attendees used the ideas from our expert presentations as inspiration to solve a realistic hypothetical problem in an Innovative Design Thinking Workshop (IDTW). The Summit concluded with participants presenting their IDTW solutions and receiving feedback from Fabien Cousteau of the Fabian Cousteau Ocean Learning Center.
