World Oceans Day Cleanup

Today wasn’t just any other weekday – it was World Ocean’s Day! What better way to celebrate than with a cleanup? That’s what our volunteers were thinking when they came to help us clean Morningside Park on Tuesday evening. In just one hour, we managed to collect 42.4 pounds of trash from the rocks surrounding the water and from kayakers on Picnic Island.

A big blue thank you to everyone who spent their time with us during the week! Here at SeaKeepers, we know that everyday is World Oceans Day, and our volunteers do too. So, we’ll see y’all for another cleanup soon! Stay stoked!
