Junior SeaKeepers 2025-26 Webinar 10: UM Shark Research Center

On April 17th, 2026, The International SeaKeepers Society hosted its final webinar experience of the 2025-26 Junior SeaKeepers cohort. For this webinar we are immensely grateful to be joined by Kathryn Miller, shark biologist and logistics coordinator and University of Miami’s Shark Research Center (SRC). Kathryn’s research focuses on shark reproduction through the use of ultrasounds and hormone profiles. Her extensive background and passion in education deeply contributes to SRC’s ongoing education and outreach. Our students were fascinated with all the current research projects and excited to participate in their shark tagging outing next week! We want to give a huge thank you to Kathryn Miller and SRC for taking the time to share her experience, insight, and passions with our JSKs.
