Project Overview

From March to May, SeaKeepers Asia was delighted to collaborate with two groups of Curtin Singapore students as part of their COMM3006 Business Engagement Project, which provides the Universityโ€™s students with the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of an organisationโ€™s operations and impact.

Working on two distinct projects, the student teams developed strategic recommendations and operational frameworks aimed at strengthening SeaKeepers Asiaโ€™s programming and long-term strategies. Their research explored important topics including youth environmental leadership, marine conservation education, organisational evolution, and the opportunities and challenges facing non-profit organisations in a rapidly changing world.

The recommendations, insights, and practical solutions presented demonstrated thoughtful research, critical analysis, and genuine commitment. We were particularly impressed by the studentsโ€™ ability to balance strategic thinking with actionable recommendations that can support SeaKeepers Asiaโ€™s future growth, relevance, and sustainability.

We thank the students for their enthusiasm, professionalism, and valuable contributions, and are honoured to have been part of their learning journey while inspiring the next generation of ocean stewards.
