SeaKeepers at America 250

For The International SeaKeepers Society, Sail4th 250 represents a powerful alignment with its mission. A
global not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization
SeaKeepers facilitates oceanographic research, conservation,
and education through direct involvement with the yachting community.

Founded in Monaco in 1998, the organization has evolved from a data collection program aboard select
yachts into a leader in marine science engagement, now involving thousands of participants annually in both
at-sea and coastal programs.

Today, SeaKeepers’ work is centered around the DISCOVERY Yacht Program, which includes Scientist-Led Expeditions, Citizen Science, Educational Outreach, and Community Engagement. With its roots firmly
planted in the United States and its mission deeply tied to the ocean and vessels that travel it, SeaKeepers
sees this fleet of tall ships as a symbolic reflection of the global fleet of vessels that now serve as platforms
for marine research and education.

As these historic ships gather in the harbor, so too does the spirit of stewardship, innovation, and
collaboration that defines SeaKeepers’ role in advancing the health of our oceans.
