Welcome to SeaKeepers’ Membership Program. There are a variety of ways to engage with the organization either as a vessel owner or simply as someone who cares about ocean conservation. We provide standard Annual Membership levels and offer a 50% discount for active yacht crew. Professionals in the marine industry are also recognized on this page with the purchase of any type of annual membership. For vessel owners, the DISCOVERY Yacht Membership is a unique opportunity to engage with marine research and educational programming and allows for preferred or complimentary access to our global events year-round. The Top Tier Membership is an investment in our organization and encompasses our Admiral’s Club and Founding Members who established the organization some 25 years ago. Professional Members
The Professional Membership category was initially formed with off-shore captains and crew as well as on-shore professionals across all industries. We strive to provide networking opportunities between our members to study the best ways to protect and restore our oceans. Professionals are critically important as the eyes and ears of our mission. Members can opt to be recognized by SeaKeepers as a professional member when joining our annual membership at any level. Professional yacht crew receive a 50% discount on membership.

This level of membership is obtained by supporting our programming with time aboard your vessel for a scientist-led expedition, educational program, floating classroom, or participation in one of SeaKeepers’ citizen science programs.

How do I join or renew membership with SeaKeepers?
If you are joining the SeaKeepers Membership Program for the first time, please scroll to the top of this page and select the membership level that benefits you. If you are renewing your membership, please follow the steps above or email memberships@seakeepers.org
Who are SeaKeepers members?
Members of SeaKeepers include influential opinion leaders who believe that the best way to protect the environment is to protect the world’s oceans. Our small but distinguished membership includes entrepreneurs, yachtsmen, corporations, divers, scientists, and concerned citizens building a global movement to help restore and protect the world’s oceans.
What are the benefits of joining the SeaKeepers Membership Program?
The benefits of being a SeaKeeper member are varied. Your support facilitates expeditions, hosts monthly beach cleanups, and provides educational opportunities to school kids in the community while providing you special privileges and access to enjoy multiple experiences. Members can join at-sea expeditions, have access to early purchase and preferred pricing on tickets for signature events throughout the year, appear in newsletter features, attend network events with like-minded marine industry members, receive recognition on our website, and more.
Depending on the value of your contribution, tax deductions may apply toward your level of support.
Members also receive promotional items that include, SeaKeepers swag, and single-use alternatives. Items and benefits vary based on the level of membership, please refer to membership benefits listed under each level.
When will my membership expire?
The SeaKeepers’ Membership Program runs for exactly one year from the moment of activation. If you have any questions on whether your membership is currently active, please contact memberships@seakeepers.org.
How do I change my contact information with SeaKeepers?
To change your contact information, you can easily contact us at memberships@seakeepers.org to provide you with the status of your membership and change any details necessary for the duration of your membership.
I’m a paid member, but I’m not receiving e-mails from SeaKeepers.
Sometimes, service providers automatically spam filter certain emails, and the process is not 100% accurate. Before reapplying to receive our emails, check your Junk and Spam folders to be sure that they are not getting lost there. By clicking the box on the left of each message to check mark and click “Not Junk” or “Move to Inbox” you can ensure they no longer get lost. If that has not fixed the issue, please contact memberships@seakeepers.org to investigate the issue.
How do I cancel my annual membership?
If you have an ongoing membership and would like to cancel your annual subscription, please email memberships@seakeepers.org with your full name and membership level.
