Rosie Moore holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and a Master of Science in Geosciences from Florida Atlantic University (FAU). With over a decade of experience in wildlife research and the application of geospatial technology for conservation, she specializes in studying apex predators and human-wildlife interactions. Rosie began her conservation career in the Florida Everglades, where she conducted fieldwork on invasive Burmese pythons and native crocodilians. Her work later expanded to include sharks and other marine megafauna, bridging the gap between terrestrial and ocean conservation.
Rosie’s passion for science communication led her to a parallel career in television, where she has served as a host and producer for major networks such as Discovery Channel and History Channel — making complex scientific topics engaging and accessible to the public. Now, as a Citizen Science Manager at The International SeaKeepers Society, she integrates her background in conservation, education, and media to connect boaters with research opportunities and promote ocean science around the globe.
