Water Quality Sampling And Pollution Assessment

Aboard D/Y Novurania, SeaKeepers helped Miami Waterkeeper continue its mission to ensure that Miami and Biscayne Bay waters are clean and safe. This expedition included patrolling Biscayne Bay waters and looking for potential areas of dumping, pollution and marine debris. During the trip, Miami Waterkeeper researchers sampled water from a number of locations in Coconut Grove and Coral Gables to analyze for pollutants.

Biscayne Bay day patrols, surveying and water sampling occur throughout the year.
