The Watersports Academy's Staff Training Day

Overview

On April 25, 2025, The International SeaKeepers Society were invited to The Watersports Academy's Staff Training Day to provide Educational Outreach resources and guidance to the summer staff. By supplying educational information and materials, SeaKeepers has enabled The Watersports Academy's staff to educate their student groups about ocean health and the importance of marine research and conservation throughout their summer season. These offerings included 4 SeaKeepers lesson plans, titled "Marine Debris and Coastal Clean-up", "Plastic Pollution and Coastal Clean-up", "Sailboats" and "The Deep Ocean", which allow them to explore the marine environment through various different avenues. SeaKeepers are keen to follow The Watersports Academy's sessions throughout the summer, collectively inspiring the next generation of ocean advocates.

We thank The Watersports Academy for their enthusiasm to participate in SeaKeepers' Educational Outreach through their summer activity programme, sharing our mission with local students to encourage all to better protect the marine environment and promote ocean stewardship.
