To fill in the gaps about these sharks, a team at Virginia Tech’s SeaQL Lab is teaming up with the nonprofit International SeaKeepers Society and Virginia Tech’s Genomics Sequencing Center, using a cutting-edge tool called environmental DNA, or eDNA.
