The 2024 Superyacht Gathering Flagship Event will kick off with an all-day symposium at the Maritime Museum in Auckland on March 20, 2024. The first confirmed guest speaker is Melissa White, the Program Development Manager for The International SeaKeepers Society in the South Pacific.

The annual International SeaKeepers Society Asia Gala Dinner had a special theme this year, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the SeaKeepers organisation.

The International SeaKeepers Society (SeaKeepers) is a non-profit organization uniting the yachting community for ocean conservation. They partner with scientists, drive oceanographic research, and promote ocean stewardship awareness. At the heart of their mission is Seabed 2030, a global initiative striving to map the entire ocean floor by 2030.

The International SeaKeepers Society celebrated its 25th anniversary by hosting the BAL DE LA MER on the 25th of October 2023 – a gala evening at the Four Season Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Guests of honour included 2015 SeaKeeper of the Year, Fabien Cousteau, the 2019 recipient Amos Nachoum and yachting celebrity Captain Sandy Yawn, who took to the stage to highlight their association with the SeaKeeper’s mission.
