The International SeaKeepers Society (SeaKeepers), a non-profit organisation dedicated to facilitating oceanographic research through direct involvement with the yachting and boating community, is excited to host the inaugural event for its South Pacific Chapter.

Attend the official launch of SeaKeepers’ South Pacific Chapter: An unforgettable night reflecting on past achievements and charting the course for the future of ocean science in the South Pacific region.

The event will take place on Wednesday, 5 March 2025, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM NZDT at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, located at 181 Westhaven Drive, Westhaven Marina, Auckland 1011, New Zealand. This intimate gathering, with limited attendance, offers an elegant evening of connection and purpose.

Some of the many yacht-centric environmental groups include Water Revolution Foundation, Blue Marine Foundation, Yachts For Science, and The International SeaKeepers Society, which has accomplished more than 500 ocean science projects on yachts in more than 47 different countries during the last 10 years.

In 2024 we established our official partnership with the International SeaKeepers Society as their Educational Outreach Partner. Research, Education, Protection and Restoration are the cornerstones behind our partnership together.

The International SeaKeepers Society Bangladesh Chapter, in collaboration with WildTeam, has launched a groundbreaking plastic waste management initiative at the WildTeam Conservation Biology Centre (TigerHouse) in the Sundarbans.

The International SeaKeepers Society’s 2013 SeaKeeper of the Year, David Shaw of the Sargasso Sea Alliance, has released his first novel, Wave Making, an extraordinary exploration of leadership, innovation, and purpose that stands apart due to Shaw’s masterful storytelling and infectious humor.

The International SeaKeepers Society, in partnership with The Nippon Foundation GEBCO Seabed 2030 Project, is advancing efforts to map the world’s oceans by 2030.
