Overview
Citizen Science Manager Haley Davis presented on the importance of seagrass beds at the Benthic Ecology Meeting in Charleston, South Carolina. She spent her time interacting with scientific professionals in benthic science and helped to create connections for SeaKeepers' future and existing Citizen Science partnerships!
Outing Goal:
The goal of this conference was to network with researchers who may be potential collaborators for SeaKeepers Citizen Science Projects. She even got to meet up with existing collaborator Steve Morton from the Phytoplankton Monitoring Network at his home lab Hollings Marine Lab!
