Biscayne Nature Center Educator Resource Fair

Overview

On Saturday, June 1st, 2024, The International SeaKeepers Society Education and Outreach team participated in the 2024 Educator Resource Fair organzied by the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center. As a part of this event, SeaKeepers tabled with almost 20 other South Florida conservation education organizations and spoke with around 85 local educators, largely from Miami-Dade County Public Schools, about our completely free educational offerings. Some of our promoted programs include floating classrooms, classroom presentations, digital lesson plans, and our Junior SeaKeepers program, amongst others. Our work seemed to be well received and we look forward to the opportunity to serve more South Florida students and educators with free environmental conservation education programming in the upcoming school year!
