On Sunday, June 27th, 2021, The International SeaKeepers Society participated in The Crossing For Cystic Fibrosis, a long-distance endurance paddle challenge that takes paddlers 80 miles across the Gulf Stream from Bimini in the Bahamas back to the Florida mainland. An astounding one hundred and forty paddleboarders and 50 boats were able to make a lifelong impact on the patients and families facing the challenges of this heartbreaking terminal disease by joining the race and raising $634,058 for the Piper’s Angels Foundation.

SeaKeepers is excited for next year’s event, hoping for the chance to involve their DISCOVERY Yacht Fleet. “This was an amazing endeavor.. humbling and amazing!” says Team SeaKeepers, Dick Seidenspinner. “We will be a significant element in 2022, I can’t wait!"
