Our program offers two tiers of membership: Ocean Ambassadors and Ocean Allies, whichsupport the heart of our mission, the DISCOVERY Yachts Program.
Using private vessels known as DISCOVERY Yachts, the program facilitates marineresearch, exploration and education.

From monthly beach cleanups to DISCOVERY Yachts expeditions, your support is critical to our mission.
Calling all industry activists. From businesses that work directly as marine based companies to professionals concerned with the state of our oceans.
Invest in supporting our marine environment and sustaining the existence of healthy oceans.
SeaKeepers collaborates with numerous organizations, academic institutions, and government agencies in order to accomplish its DISCOVERY Yacht missions. SeaKeepers staff work closely with yacht owners and crew to coordinate research and outreach activities that reflect each yacht owner’s ocean-related interests. Vessel owners who generously donate time on their yachts to the SeaKeepers DISCOVERY Yachts Program may qualify for tax benefits to the extent permitted by law.
The DISCOVERY Yachts Program is comprised of scientist-led expeditions, citizen science, instrument deployments, educational outreach events and community engagement. The degree of participation can vary from a 10-minute instrument deployment while en route to your next port to an afternoon outreach trip with children to week-long expeditions with a team of expert researchers. Each expedition is unique and is organized with both the science and yacht in mind.
The impact of DISCOVERY Yachts programming is wide ranging, through specific data collection that influences policy makers to implement measures on ocean pollution, to inspiring the next generation in becoming better ocean stewards with participation in beach clean ups and floating classroom experiences.
The motto, “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle,” leaves out the most important “R” - Refuse. Our behavior by refusing plastic products and instead utilizing single-use alternatives can greatly affect the pollution problem and prevent the lifecycle of plastics on Earth. Our single-use plastic alternatives kit includes a reusable shopping bag, a reusable metal straw, and a reusable water bottle.
Reusable shopping bag can prevent 500 plastic bags from polluting the ocean every year.
Reusable straw can prevent approximately 547 plastic straws from polluting the ocean each year.
Reusable water bottle will replace 167 disposable water bottles per year.
