On October 25th, 2020 SeaKeepers hosted it's monthly beach cleanup on Virginia Key Beach. Despite pouring rain during most of the morning cleanup, 19 dedicated volunteers participated and collectively removed 77 lbs of trash from the area. All trash removed was recorded through the "Clean Swell" application as part of Ocean Conservancy's ongoing efforts to document and remove as much ocean litter as possible. With this cleanup, SeaKeepers has removed 1905 lbs of trash from this beach since July 2019!

We look forward to expanding our partnerships with local schools and businesses to conserve our local beaches and waters. Thank you to all of our volunteers - especially for working through the rain!
