What a way to close out February! Our amazing SeaKeepers collected 28 bags for a total of 182.5 pounds of trash out of the mangroves and off one of our favorite sites. Morningside Park is now 182.5 pounds cleaner, and looking as gorgeous as ever. With an average of almost 4 pounds of trash picked up per volunteer, all 46 of our participants just about cancelled out the average American’s daily waste in about 2 hours - how crazy is that? Thanks to all the students and community members who came out and spent their beautiful Saturday with us making the world a little cleaner than it was when we found it.
