Ocean Talks 2024

Overview

On June 6, 2024, The International SeaKeepers Society attended Ocean Talks during Ocean Week, an evening which aimed to build a stronger bridge between the yachting community and the world of marine conservation. On a warm Summers evening SeaKeepers UK representatives attended Ocean Talks 2024 at The Magazine, Serpentine North Gallery. Keynotes were given by David Lang, oceanographer, executive director of the Experiment Foundation, Co-founder of Sofar and OpenROV, and Laurent Ballesta, marine biologist, explorer, award-winning underwater photographer and pioneering deep diver. Lilly Barclay, founding member of the Ocean Family Foundation gave a warm welcome and Matthieu Rytz, producer, curator and film director shared his passion and dedication to the environment through his environmental stories.

The International SeaKeepers Society attended the Ocean Talks in London,UK, to join marine conservation experts, activists and enthusiasts, and to share our global mission through our DISCOVERY Yacht programme.
