Overview
During February 28-March 3, 2024, The International SeaKeepers Society attended the 30th Annual Dubai International Boat Show. It was an opportunity to walk the docks and meet up with global partners to discuss our mission and program highlights. With over 100 industry experts sharing their ideas on the future of the yachting industry, highlighting global and local sustainability initiatives, there was so much to cover. We explored exhibits from some of the leading shipbuilders in the world, and experienced the vision of how the marine industry is designing for the future and adopting new technologies with the health of our ocean clearly in mind. With so much innovation happening in this region, we were pleased to have the opportunity to represent our mission of ocean conservation, education and research during this global industry gathering.
Outing Goal
The International SeaKeepers Society attended the Dubai International Boat Show to promote oceanographic research, conservation, and education through direct involvement with the yachting community in the UAE. Providing educational resources and hands-on marine science experiences to students is the primary focus for ensuring the future wellbeing of our planet. SeaKeepers enables the yachting community to take full advantage of their unique potential to advance marine sciences and raise awareness about global ocean issues.
