SeaKeepers at the Dubai International Boat Show

Overview

During February 28-March 3, 2024, The International SeaKeepers Society attended the 30th Annual Dubai International Boat Show. It was an opportunity to walk the docks and meet with global partners to discuss our mission and programming. With over 100 industry experts sharing their ideas on the future of the yachting industry and highlighting global and local sustainability initiatives, there were many opportunities to explore. Exhibits from some of the leading shipbuilders in the world reflected the vision of how the marine industry is designing for the future, and adopting new technologies focused on the health of the ocean.

Outing Goal

The promotion of oceanographic research, conservation, and education through direct involvement with the yachting community in the UAE. Providing educational resources and hands-on marine science experiences to students is the primary focus.
