SeaKeepers at the Newport Charter Yacht Show

Overview

From June 24th to 26th, 2024, The International SeaKeepers Society's Program Development Manager, Aubri Keith, attended the Newport Charter Yacht Show to share SeaKeepers' mission and programs with show attendees and participating yachts. Over the course of the show we were able to meet with several of our long-supporting DISCOVERY Yachts and welcomed 3 new vessels into the DISCOVERY Yacht Program- two of which joined the citizen science project, Seabed 2030, a global crowdsourced bathymetry project. SeaKeepers representative, Aubri, also hosted a roundtable discussion on how charter yachts can support marine science by hosting a scientist-led expedition at the American Yacht Charter Association (AYCA) Seminar Series.
