SeaKeepers attend 6th Annual Pacific Ocean Mapping Conference

Overview

SeaKeepers Citizen Science Manager and South Pacific Program Assistant attended the Ocean Mapping Conference to network with collaborators from around the world with a special focus on those in the South Pacific. They attended an 8-hr long data visualization workshop to learn how to create maps for communicating ocean data utilizing GIS software. On the final day, a beach cleanup was organized to clean a local beach area.
