SeaKeepers South Pacific Attends ASMEX Conference 2024 and the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show

The International SeaKeepers Society's Director of South Pacific, Melissa White, recently participated in the ASMEX Conference 2024, followed by the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. The conference convened from the 20th to the 22nd of May, with the boat show running from the 23rd to the 26th of May.

Melissa had the opportunity to deliver a presentation on SeaKeepers' expansion into the South Pacific to an audience of 150 industry professionals at the conference, garnering significant exposure for the organization.

At the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, SeaKeepers secured booth space in collaboration with the Super Yacht Group Great Barrier Reef. Here, a table was arranged featuring informational materials and QR codes providing access to SeaKeepers' programming details for attendees to scan and explore further. The booth attracted visits from industry professionals, captains, and like-minded individuals. Throughout the event, Melissa engaged in networking activities and visited other booths to learn of the latest developments in sustainable technology.

On Friday, the 24th of May, SeaKeepers, in partnership with the Superyacht Group Great Barrier Reef, hosted a networking and seminar event attended by captains and professionals. The agenda included presentations from officials in the Great Barrier Reef region, dive guides, and representatives from SeaKeepers, further fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange within the maritime community.
